Getting started

How fast can we be live?

A single centre with one or two modalities: within three working days of signing. We install beside whatever you run today, so nothing stops. Multi-site rollouts go one centre at a time.

Do I need to buy a server?

No. A small agent on an existing PC picks up DICOM from your scanners and sends it to the cloud. No rack, no UPS, no hardware AMC, no summer afternoon when the box dies.

Will it work with my scanner?

If it sends DICOM, yes. Standard C-STORE plus modality worklist, so the technician picks the patient at the console instead of retyping the name.

Can I try it before committing?

Yes. Modalities can send to two destinations at once, so we run in parallel with your current PACS for 30 days. Cancel the old one when you are convinced, not before.

What about my old studies?

We migrate them, as part of going live. Priors are why a radiologist trusts a new system on day one. Scope is agreed in writing before we start.

AI and reporting

How does the AI dictation work?

Bionic Flow. The radiologist speaks naturally, no voice enrolment, and gets a structured, sign-ready report. Subspecialty-aware, and built so nothing appears that the radiologist did not say.

What does the quality check catch?

Eight AI agents read every draft: contradictions, template completeness, whether the clinical question was answered, measurement consistency, laterality, incidental findings, differentials, and whether the impression matches the findings. 96.7% QC accuracy across 20M+ scans.

Does the AI sign reports?

Never. The radiologist signs every report. Where AI and doctor disagree, the doctor wins.

Can I keep my own radiologists?

Yes, and they come first. Cases route to your radiologists by availability and subspecialty. Only if nobody picks a case up within the window you set does it go to 5C Network, and you decide whether that happens at all.

Can we still type reports the old way?

Yes. Type, use templates, or keep a transcriptionist. The AI is there when you want it, not a condition.

Data and security

Where is my data stored?

In-region, on infrastructure that meets local health-data rules. For Indian centres, that means it never leaves India. Encrypted in transit and at rest.

Who can see my patients' images?

Only the people you create accounts for, and only what their role allows. Every view and change is logged with a name and a timestamp. A 5C radiologist reading a case you route to them sees that study, not your worklist.

What certifications do you hold?

5C Network holds ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 13485 and ISO 9001. Those are the only ones we claim, and we send certificates on request.

What if I want to leave?

You export. Studies as DICOM, reports as PDF, and no charge to take your own data back.

Money

What does it cost?

Per case, by modality, so a centre doing twenty scans a day pays nothing like a hospital doing three hundred. 5C Network reporting, if you use it, is priced separately at standard network rates. You get a written quote the same day as the demo.

Is there a setup fee or an AMC?

No hardware, so no AMC. Onboarding, training and migration are part of going live. Anything chargeable is in the proposal before you sign.

Am I locked in?

No. We would rather keep you because it works than because a clause says so.

Running it

What happens when the internet goes down?

Scanning does not stop. The on-site agent queues studies locally and pushes them when the line is back. You lose remote reading during the outage, not acquisition.

Can it talk to my HIS or RIS?

Yes, over HL7. Orders in, results back. If you have no HIS, SuperPACS has its own billing and registration, so most single-site centres do not need one.

Who do I call when something breaks?

A named contact on the same support desk that keeps 20,000 scans a day moving for 2,000 hospitals.
